Latin American economy will get better in 2019, but is still weak and vulnerable
Around 40% of Latin American’s population is currently at risk of falling back into poverty. According to the ‘Latin American Economic Outlook 2019’ report, the region grew by 1.2% in 2018 and is expected to advance by 1.7% this year, but, despite this improvement, that growth “remains weak” and with very heterogeneous realities between countries.
